Benfield Valley isn’t changing faster than usual, people are simply looking harder. Starting 26 June, artist Rachel Henson will lead residents on five Thursday-evening walks, each a sensory adventure designed to transform how the community sees their surroundings. The event, Experiments in Radical Noticing, takes place weekly from 6 to 8 pm at Benfield Barn, offering guided walks that blend art, activism, and observation. Participants will experiment with Rachel’s innovative outdoor viewfinder. This device layers real-time landscapes with pre-recorded footage, creating illusions that shift perception and spark deeper care for local ecology.
