Reference Guidelines

Your referee must be someone who knows you and your work, such as:

  • A university or college lecturer/teacher

  • An employer

  • A friend you have worked or collaborated with (who knows you well)


Your referee must provide all of the following information in a word or PDF document.

  • Their name

  • Their position

  • Their address

  • How they know you

  • How long they have known you

  • Why they think you are a suitable candidate for the MA in Creative Practice


Where to Upload your Reference

  • When your referee sends you the reference, you must load it to the ‘Provide a Reference’ section on the Student Portal. It needs to be in a PDF, or in a word document.
