Module 5: Major Project (all year)

Content (Indicative)

In this module, students will undertake a year-long project to create a single major project or significant portfolio of creative/artistic content that demonstrates their understanding of professional, creative, and engaging practices. Students will develop and refine their chosen creative practice, focusing on sustainability of practice, technical proficiency, and audience engagement. They will be responsible for all aspects of their project, from conception and development to production and post-production, and will be encouraged to collaborate with others to create a refined final product. Students will develop:

  • A deep understanding of their creative process and its various stages

  • Understanding and being able to apply the principles required for engaging with an audience.

  • Understanding and having agency over one’s own motivations.

  • Having a deep understanding and proficiency in leadership (both of self and others).

  • The ability to analyze and apply audience engagement techniques

  • Project management, teamwork, and leadership skills

  • The ability to evaluate and reflect on their own work and creative practice

  2. Critically select and master advanced techniques and methodologies to produce content that not only engages but also challenges and expands professional standards within your field.

  3. Strategically disseminate creative works through a variety of platforms and environments, not just for audience engagement but also for creating dialogues, sparking innovation, and fostering community within the field.

  4. Demonstrate a nuanced understanding of various creative processes, critically reflecting on these to refine and sustain ethical and innovative practices within chosen creative practice/s.
