Jade
A children's book about the colours of emotion
Jade wrote and illustrated Ellie the EPIC Dog, a children's book about how colours can mean different things to different people, signed with Tiny Tree Publishing.

Congratulations to our student @Jade Brown who recently signed a publishing deal with Tiny Tree Publishing for her children’s book Ellie the EPIC Dog, which she both wrote and illustrated! 🥳💥 The story follows Ellie as she discovers how colours can mean different things to different people, a creative way to help children understand their emotions. The book is set to be released in May 2027.
Jade’s path to publishing has been a colourful one. A visual artist with a passion for creativity, she’s explored everything from wedding photography to surface pattern design. It all began when she started creating bright, playful designs inspired by her son’s interests - a splash of colour in a sea of grey boys’ clothes.
That love for creativity and connection eventually led Jade to co-found EPIC Social Care CIC with her mum, where she now works as Creative Director. There, she uses art and storytelling to support people’s personal development and it’s also where her journey into children’s books began. Since then, Jade has illustrated 15 children’s stories, all designed to help kids explore and express their feelings.
